ABOUT
Robert Cole Civil Engineering has three decades of expertise in
the industry.
Originally a small family business, Robert Cole Civil Engineering started out in 1986 specialising in groundworks in the Cotswolds. Over the years, the company has grown and expanded to providing civil engineering and enabling work to onshore energy operations and utility companies throughout the UK.
Rob Cole owns and runs the company, having incorporated it in 2010. Alongside Rob, a team of construction site supervisors and managers maintain the company’s attention to detail and ethos of service and quality, ensuring the reputation of the company.
Quality and performance is our priority.
Robert Cole Civil Engineering strive to improve our quality of service in everything we do. As part of our ongoing quality improvement process we invite feedback.

Sectors
We work with a wide variety of clients including energy utility companies, charities, main contractors, architects, project managers, structural engineers and surveyors.
For the majority of our projects we act as Principal Contractor for our clients. Our site managers and team have been recognised for their highly effective management of information, communication and construction activities
Battery Storage
Robert Cole Civil Engineering Ltd have constructed roads and foundations for a total of over 200MW of battery storage and generation for several sites nationwide and associated substation works.
Solar
Robert Cole Civil Engineering Ltd has been involved in the development of several solar farms across the country. Utilising strong project management, the company has successfully delivered projects ranging from initial site preparation ready for installation.
Wind Energy
Robert Cole Civil Engineering Ltd have carried out a wide range of civils on more than 50 wind turbine installation projects in the last 20+ years.
Works include: Access from Public Highways, access roads, soil stabilisation, crane hard standings, foundations, slab construction, piling mats and works alongside piling companies.
Groundworks
Robert Cole Civil Engineering Ltd have over 35 years experience in general groundworks and civils projects. In addition to general foundations our flexible expertise has led us to constructing irrigation reservoirs, equestrian facilities, and large landscaping projects.
